Target group and prerequisites
The Sustainable Investing is a high-level program for investment and finance professionals who want to use ESG information in investment analysis and valuation. The program gives you an understanding of how environmental and social responsibility and governance impact financial analysis.
The Sustainable Investing program discusses the corporate purpose and corporate social responsibility, the role of shareholders and other stakeholders, and the many facets of sustainable investing. We will go through climate risk and other ESG risks, how to build an ESG investment strategy and what is ESG engagement and impact investing.
The program is intended for investment and finance professionals who want to deepen their understanding of the impact of environmental and social responsibility and governance on financial markets. You will become familiar with the strategies investors deploy to pursue sustainability goals and will be able to evaluate the merits and drawbacks of sustainable investing critically.
The Sustainable Investing program consists of one three-day module. The teaching is based on interactive lectures, case examples, and discussions. During the training days, you will network and exchange views with experienced financial professionals and other participants.
Teaching takes place at Aalto EE's premises in Helsinki.
