Course description

The Misinformaatio ja maineriskit – johda ja vaikuta verkossa program is ideal for communication leads and teams and will also support other leaders and corporate relations experts in today’s fast-paced communication environment. No organization can ignore the fact that influencing through false information has increased. Any person or organization can be the next target. Both the reputation and financial results of an organization can be in danger, as well as the people. This is an important communications and leadership topic, and every organization should start taking it seriously now.

What are the strategic options for an organization to guarantee the capability to respond to information warfare? What are the implications for the business and how can it prepare? How is society now, and how is people’s mindset affecting the organization? How do different target groups act through different channels and how can organizations respond? This training searches responses to this type of question; after the training the participants will be well prepared to build their action plans for the next step.

The program is a combination of lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on activities. Three interactive training days deepen understanding of the current operating environment, changes in communication activities, and an organization’s strategic options, and ensure the capabilities needed to respond to influencing attempts in hybrid media space. In the program, you will strengthen your knowledge and understanding of the structures of a digital risk society, gain tools for recognizing potential reputational risks, improve your capabilities for acting in risk situations, show leadership, and have an opportunity to network with colleagues from different organizations.

Teaching takes place in Aalto EE's premises in Helsinki.

The program is held in Finnish.
