Course description
The Lean ja digitalisaatio rakentamisessa program provides the latest information and tools to improve the efficiency of construction design and production processes and improve quality and reliability. The program utilizes the experience gained from the Building 2030 consortium project by Aalto University and various construction companies.
The program provides answers to critical challenges that undermine the productivity of the construction sector. It examines efficiency problems in the sector and presents results from research projects and practically tested methods for finding sustainable solutions. With Lean and digitalization, projects are easier to lead, can be implemented with higher quality, and complete faster.
During the program, you will learn the Lean principles and how different Lean methods, together with digitalization, can reduce variability and waste, increase agility, and improve communication, and thus have a significant impact on the duration of production and planning processes and the manageability of the supply chain.
The program has five training days, with theoretical studies, exercises, group discussions, and a company visit. You will learn how Lean and digitalization can solve productivity problems in the construction industry, find ways to improve the quality, reliability, and efficiency of processes, get the latest information and tools for more agile project management, and learn methods to instantly bring about change at your workplace. With exercises, you can apply the learning in practice.
Teaching takes place at Aalto PRO's premises in Helsinki.
The program is held in Finnish.
