Introduction to artificial intelligence
Form of learning:
Target group and prerequisites
The course consists of lectures that each introduce an application of AI and the underlying computational problems as well as describe the principles of the methods and algorithms that are used to solve problem. The course contains problem sets on the topics of the lectures.
After completing the course, the students have an overview of various applications of AI and of the fundamental problems, methods, and algorithms that underlie and that are necessary to build the AI applications. The course gives the student a good basis for further study of the said methods and algorithms, with the main goal of ‘demystifying’ AI.
The course can be completed fully online and no physical presence is required. The lectures and exercises will be available on the course page and can be viewed at your own pace.
There will be weekly exercises and deadlines.
Weekly lecture quizzes, computer exercise demos, and a course essay at the end of the course.
