This course has been designed as a starting point for understanding Finnish working life and building your career in Finland. The course has been authored by recruitment and career specialists and offers you a curated collection of insights on working in Finland in an easily accessible course format, which you can complete at your own time and pace.

Self-directed studying
 

  1. Registration for the course at www.futureofwork.fi.
  2. Get acquainted with the course contents. The course is divided into five chapters, which all have four sections.
  3. After each section, there will be either a multiple-choice quiz or self-reflection questions.
  4. In order to pass the course, you will need to pass all assignments.
  5. After successfully completing the course you will have the possibility to purchase a certificate of completion and you are eligible to apply for 2 ECTS at Aalto University.

Enrolment options
 

For non-Aalto University degree students: Register here to create an account. After logging in, click on Finland Works, and press ‘Take this Course’ on the left. You can choose to either audit the course for free or purchase a Certificate during or after completion of the course. The price of the Certificate is 90€ (incl. VAT 24%). Once purchasing the course Certificate you can also apply for 2 ECTS from Aalto University.

For Aalto University degree students: In order to receive 2 ECTS and a free Certificate, first enrol on the course Finland Works MNGT-C1005 on Sisu and then register your account here.

You can choose to either audit the course for free or purchase a Certificate during or after completion of the course. Once purchasing the course Certificate you can also apply for ECTS from Aalto University. Upon completing the course, your electronic Certificate will be added emailed to you – from there, you can print your Certificate or add it to your LinkedIn profile. If you only want to read and view the course content, you can audit the course for free. You can share your course certificates in the Certifications section of your LinkedIn profile, on printed resumes, CVs, or other documents.
