Target group and prerequisites
More than ever before, change management represents the foundation of general management and the core of what makes great leaders excel. In the Essentials of Leading Change online course, you will explore change from different perspectives and get a flexible understanding of the frameworks and tools that can be used to promote change. Through this online course, you will learn the main drivers and contexts of change and how to prepare for change in your organization. You will get the skills to start initiating and leading change and systemic transformation. You will learn the methods for how to enable sticky change and how you can work towards a flexible and resilient organization.
The course consists of an introduction and closing part, six study modules, and a final course assessment. You will also get a workbook that will help you expand your understanding of change management practices, and you can use this on a current challenge or project you have in your organization. You should reserve approximately two hours to go through the video lectures. We estimate that it will take you about eight hours to complete the course.
The program length is about 4 to 5 weeks, following the recommended schedule of 2 to 3 hours per week.
