Board of Directors

The Board of Directors program offers a way for board professionals and top-level executives to develop a global mindset to sense and interpret transformation in the global economy. The program strengthens your strategic insight into how to capture competitive advantage and sustainable value in the increasingly complex and unpredictable business environment, and provides frameworks to enhance your strategic acumen and to deepen your understanding and knowledge of the prevailing change forces. 

You will receive tools to support high performance as a board member or when working closely with the board. The program will support your company’s performance through achieving more effective board dynamics and cultivating a global and agile mindset.

In addition to the top professors and keynote speakers bringing their valuable expertise into the classroom, the network of highly experienced program participants with diverse backgrounds will play a significant role in your learning through sharing and reflection in joint discussions.

Before the contact days, you will receive preparatory work and pre-readings to help you orientate to the program. After the 3-day module, you will have an opportunity to deepen your learning experience and make it more impactful in a 6-month online process that will build on the frameworks and topics discussed. This process will include self-paced study with the support of regular material packages on timely matters with instructions on how to proceed. Process closes with an online event including a keynote lecture and reflections on take aways and learnings.

Teaching takes place at Aalto EE's premises in Helsinki.
