Course description

Data is being created faster today than ever before. It increases in scope every day, both at work and at home, and is collected for different purposes. Staying up to date requires continuous learning; how is data utilized and where does it come from? Companies can collect data for different purposes and from different sources, but what data is relevant?

The Big Data online course will help you understand what mass data is and is a great way to build team or department expertise. After the course, you will have a picture of the challenges and opportunities of big data and you will have a broader understanding of digitization.

The term Big Data in itself already means that there is a lot of data, and the course covers how mass data is defined. The online course does not require previous knowledge in the field and is therefore ideal for people who would like to revisit what they have learned before or learn something completely new. The course is suitable for adult beginners who want to expand their own skills.

The course consists of individual modules, each of which includes videos, assignments, written material, and questions. The last module includes a final exam, which allows you to test your own skills.
