Basics of Cybersecurity
Form of learning:
The application period for the summer course Basics of Cybersecurity starts in February. Please note that course information is subject to change.
Our daily lives are more dependent on technology than ever before, and cybersecurity has become one of the biggest priorities for businesses, organisations and governments today – the potential threats of a cyber attack can put both a company’s reputation and digital infrastructure at risk. Cybersecurity protects sensitive data, like customer information and trade secrets against unauthorised access.
Organisations and country governments are standing against new challenges as hybrid cyber threats are becoming more common. The current change in the working landscape with remote work and working from home also pose stricter cybersecurity requirements for companies and businesses.
During the course, students will learn how to understand cyber security concepts and why they are so crucial on both societal, organisational and individual levels, as well as the technical and societal aspects of digital security, including cyber threats and how to solve them in today’s digital landscape.
