Course description
The training focuses on creating value through the application of data science and an analytics toolbox in supply chain decision-making. The course focuses on building the capability to bridge the gap between understanding the business domain and data science expertise - a fundamental task for any contemporary business.
The training provides an overview of the data science toolbox, including topics such as causality, predictive analytics with machine learning, simulation, and optimization. The training consists of four days of face-to-face teaching (2+2) and hands-on exercises based on imaginary data.
The training is designed for industrial production and supply chain managers and managers who want to develop practical skills in using different analytics models and learn to act between data science and business goals. In the training, you will learn the principles of different analytical models and understand the suitability of different models for different purposes.
Teaching takes place at Aalto PRO's premises in Helsinki.
