Course description
Financial management plays a crucial role in producing information to support business management and decision-making, as well as steering the future development and success of a company. Digitalization increasingly offers new ways for financial management to support and create value for a business.
The Aalto CFO Program offers tools to strengthen financial management’s focus as a business partner for management, and discusses different ways to drive the future development of business. The program will strengthen your skills in leading business financially and have an impact on the future success of your company.
By attending the program, you will deepen your understanding of the role of a CFO and the financial function in transition and refresh your knowledge of corporate finance, corporate governance, and company valuation. You will also deepen your perspective on digitalizing the business environment and new emerging opportunities for the finance function and learn new ways to influence other people.
The program is six days in total, with two modules of three days each. Both modules include pre-materials and a post-assignment. The 9 ECTS credits can be transferred to the Aalto EMBA or Aalto MBA programs.
Teaching takes place at Aalto EE's premises in Helsinki.
